What a week…what a GREAT week :)
This week I’ve put together a national media campaign, including producing all the necessary media information and supporting updates and notifications for the campaign’s social media platforms, which I have also created and will continue to manage on behalf of this particular client.
I’ve have also finished off creating copy for a b2b website, a four page consumer brochure and a six page trade brochure – I also played creative and project manager for all three channels, which ensured the project was very controlled and focused – overall a lot more fun :)
I was also asked by a Leeds-based advertising agency to put together a PR campaign on behalf of one of their clients, which was received very well – even though my proposal included the use of 8 netbooks, 20 USB flash ports and 30 rubber ducks and bath chains! Moreover, another Leeds-based agency with a focus on direct marketing asked me to create some news items – with an SEO focus – for a client’s website that they are currently preparing to launch.
Oh and yes, I had a fantastic meeting with two fantastic PR professionals in a fantastic location – one of the UK’s most charming historic market towns in fact – I even managed to have a catch up with a good friend and ex-colleague of mine from a Leeds-based full-service agency that I was the account director for.
So all-in-all I’ve had a good week with good results all round – which is always great!
